How EarthP works, in six short parts.
The map
EarthP is a world map that friends fill in with tokens. Every dot on the globe is a token launched on a real place. Spin the globe, zoom in, tap a dot and you are standing there, inside a 360° panorama of the place.
Dark dots are live, hollow ones are new or asleep, a soft halo marks the hot ones. A place stays on the map even when trading goes quiet; its dot just fades.
Claiming a place
Tap Claim a place, spin the globe to the area you want and zoom in until it turns into a street map. Tap the exact spot. The pin falls into a hexagon of the H3 grid at resolution 8, about 0.7 km².
One hex holds one token. If a hex is taken, its ticker is drawn on the map and you are offered the free hexes right next to it. While you sign the launch, the hex is held for you for two minutes.
The shot
After the pin you step inside the place: a 360° street panorama from Mapillary opens around you. Turn to what you want to show and take the shot. The square in the middle becomes the token's picture.
If the spot has no panorama, the nearest one is used, however far away, and the credit says how far it is from your pin. Panoramas are CC BY-SA, so the photographer is always credited.
Trading
Every token starts on a bonding curve on Solana: the more people buy, the higher the price. You can make a first buy at launch, before anyone else sees the token.
When the curve is full, liquidity moves to a Meteora pool. For holders nothing changes: you buy and sell on the same page, just through the pool.
Fees
Launching a place costs 0.02 SOL plus the Solana network fee. Each trade carries a 1% fee: half goes to the creator of the place, half to EarthP. Creators claim their share in the profile.
Before you buy
EarthP is a closed prototype for friends. Nothing here is financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero; only put in what you are fine losing.
